Behind the build

Your streamer Journey: every milestone as a gem, with rarity from real data

Every ClipBot streamer now has a Journey page: follower goals, chat spikes, “clip it” calls and more, turned into 72 gems. Rarity comes from the share of streamers who actually have each one, so Mythic really means under 1%.

Streaming is a long game, and most of the wins are invisible. Your first “clip it” that actually got clipped. The night chat went wild. The week you crossed 1,000 followers. Nobody throws you a party for those, so we built a page that does. Every streamer on ClipBot now has a Journey: every milestone you’ve hit, turned into a gem, with an honest answer to “how rare is that, really?”

What’s on the page

Go to clipbot.gg/Streamers/yourname/Journey, or tap “See the full journey” on your profile. It’s public, so anyone can open it without logging in. From top to bottom:

  • A full-screen hero. Your rarest gem sits in the middle as the crown, with your next eight rarest orbiting it. Your name, how long you’ve been on ClipBot, and a counter that rolls up to your total, like “42 of 72 gems unlocked”, with a count for each rarity.
  • Latest unlocks and next goals on either side of the hero: the three gems you earned most recently, and the three you’re closest to.
  • Follower goals: a road of follower milestones with how many more you need for the next one.
  • Every goal: the next gem in every category, closest first.
  • Unlocks along the way: a timeline of everything you’ve earned, newest at the top and your very first unlocks at the bottom.

The hero is themed by your crown gem. A Mythic crown turns the page pink and violet; a Legendary one turns it gold:

When the page opens, stars warp past, the gems fly out of the crown into orbit and your name lights up letter by letter. You get the full show the first time you visit in a session and a quicker version after that. If your device is set to reduce motion, everything appears without moving.

How you earn gems

Gems come from things you’re already doing. There’s nothing to sign up for or claim: ClipBot works them out from your channel and your clips, and dates each one to the day you reached it. There are nine kinds, each with a ladder of levels:

  • Follower goals: followers on your Twitch channel, from 50 all the way to 1 million.
  • Broadcasts clipped: past broadcasts ClipBot found moments in (1, 5, 10, 25 and up to 500).
  • Moments clipped: clips ClipBot cut from your broadcasts (10 up to 5,000).
  • Chat spikes: moments when your chat moved three times faster than usual, or viewers asked for a clip.
  • “Clip it” calls: times you said “clip it” on stream and ClipBot clipped it.
  • Upvotes from viewers: upvotes other people gave your clips on ClipBot. Your own votes don’t count.
  • Shorts made: vertical Shorts made from your clips.
  • Clips on Twitch: moments published as clips on your Twitch channel.
  • Weekly leaderboard: finishing in the top three on the weekly streamer leaderboard.

Your profile shows a short version: your follower road, your three newest gems and a “Next gem” card with how far you have to go.

What rarity means

Most achievement systems call something “rare” because the designer said so. We wanted rarity to mean something, so every gem shows the share of ClipBot streamers who actually have it, based on every streamer ClipBot has clipped at least one broadcast for, and refreshed twice a day. The bands work a bit like trophies on PlayStation:

  • Common 40% or more of streamers have it
  • Rare 15–40% of streamers
  • Epic 5–15% of streamers
  • Legendary 1–5% of streamers
  • Mythic Under 1% of streamers

Here’s what that looks like for real gems: your first “clip it” call is Common (47% of streamers have one), 50 broadcasts clipped is Epic (7.5%), 50 “clip it” calls is Legendary (1.2%), and 100 “clip it” calls is Mythic (under 1%).

Up next: the goals you’re closest to

A trophy cabinet is nice, but what keeps people coming back is the next one. Every Journey lists the next gem in each category, sorted by how close you are, with a progress bar and the rarity you’ll unlock:

clipbot.gg/Streamers/wildbluebeary/Journey
The Every goal section: 3K followers 256 to go Epic, 250 chat spikes 68 to go Mythic, 1K moments 243 to go Legendary, 100 broadcasts 26 to go Legendary, 50 upvotes 16 to go Epic, 100 clip it calls 45 to go Mythic, and more
wildbluebeary’s goals, closest first. Two of them are one step away: a first Short and a first clip on Twitch.

The follower road works the same way. Steps are close together while a channel is small (50, 100, 200, 300, 500, 750, 1K) and spread out as it grows, so there’s always a goal within reach. socruel, at 8,214 followers, is 1,786 away from 10K.

The timeline: from your latest unlock to where it started

Below the goals, every gem you’ve earned is laid out on a timeline, grouped by month, newest first. Each one shows its rarity, the share of streamers who have it, and the date you got it. Big days are merged into one card, so a stream that unlocked four gems at once reads as one moment:

clipbot.gg/Streamers/bigviibin/Journey
The top of bigviibin’s timeline: a card for 4 unlocks in one day on Oct 5, 2026 (250 chat spikes, 100 Shorts, 50 Shorts, weekly top 3), then 25 Shorts, 10 Shorts, First Short, 100 clip it calls (Mythic) and 100 broadcasts (Legendary)
The top of bigviibin’s timeline: four gems on Oct 5, 2026, including a weekly top-three finish.

Scroll to the bottom and you reach where it began. Some milestones happened before ClipBot was tracking them, like follower counts you’d already passed, or upvotes from before we kept a dated history of votes. Those still count, and they sit together under “Before ClipBot started tracking” instead of getting a made-up date.

Share it

Hit Share on your Journey to send the link anywhere: X, Discord, Reddit, WhatsApp, or paste it into your Twitch panels. Wherever you post it, the link unfurls into a card with your gem count, your gems by rarity, your followers and your latest unlock:

The card is redrawn as you unlock more gems, so it keeps up with where you are now.

Why it matters

  • Motivation on the slow weeks. Growth on Twitch is lumpy. Some weeks the follower count barely moves, but you still clipped your 250th moment or hit a chat spike. The Journey makes those wins visible, and “Up next” always has something close.
  • Proof for your community. Your viewers helped earn a lot of these gems: the chat spikes, the upvotes, the “clip it” moments. Sharing your Journey is a way to say thanks and show how far you’ve come together.
  • Something real for sponsors. “Under 1% of streamers” means something because it’s measured, not invented. Put your Journey next to your public stats page and you have a growth story with dates attached.

It works on phones too, with the latest unlocks and goals stacked under the hero:

Questions

What is the ClipBot Journey page?
A public page for every streamer at clipbot.gg/Streamers/{name}/Journey.
