1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ClipBot.gg and the ClipBot iOS application (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ClipBot is an AI-powered platform that automatically generates highlight clips from Twitch VODs (Video on Demand). The Service includes clip generation, a public clip discovery feed, streamer profiles, leaderboards, and related features.

3. Account Registration
  • You must authenticate via Twitch OAuth to use the Service
  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You may not use the Service to process VODs you do not own or have permission to use
4. Subscriptions and Payments
  • ClipBot offers free and paid tiers (ClipBot+ at $4.99/month)
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
  • You may cancel at any time via the Membership page — access continues until the end of the billing period
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice
5. Content and Clips
  • You retain ownership of your original stream content
  • By using the Service, you grant ClipBot a non-exclusive, worldwide license to process, store, display, and distribute clips generated from your VODs on the ClipBot platform
  • Generated clips are displayed publicly on Discover, Games, Leaderboards, and Streamer profile pages
  • You may request removal of specific clips by contacting us
  • ClipBot does not claim ownership of your content
6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service to process content that violates Twitch's Terms of Service
  • Upload or process content containing illegal material
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or pricing tiers
  • Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download clips from the platform
  • Impersonate other users or streamers
  • Manipulate voting/upvote systems
7. Service Availability
  • ClipBot is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that all VODs will be successfully processed
  • Clip quality depends on stream content, audio quality, and AI analysis — results vary
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time
8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClipBot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination
  • We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms
  • You may delete your account by contacting hello@clipbot.gg
  • Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy
10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be communicated via email or notice on the platform.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Oregon.
